Exactly same thing happened to me with T-Mobile Blackberry 8320. After extensive research with RIM it appears that the Blackberry OS from 4.5 on is incompatible with Range Rover and Jaguar and the address book displays the phone number in the address field. The only solution is to downgrade the phone back to OS 4.2 which I did and all works perfectly again. You'll find the software by searching for 8320M_PBr4.2.2_rel338_PL2.5.0.40_A4.2.2.184_RIM.ex e

Question Same issue..phone numbers sync but not the names

On my new 2010 Range Rover Sport, the phone numbers sync with the bluetooth device but not the names. Any updates on how to fix this?

spatriarco, See the answer above from "Frank Fleming". My IT guys updated the software for the boss & now his Jag does not sync the names. I did not update my BB & it works fine w/ his Jag & my Land Rover. They then "downgraded" his BB software back to OS 4.2 & everything is back to normal. I know that's not what to hear but you will have to wait until BB sends out a patch. This should be 6-12 months. Keep searching & checking with: http://forums.crackberry.com/
They will be the first to answer you question. Good luck.

I had the exact same issue with my Blackberry 8900, I fixed it by downloading the latest software v4.6.1.231 (Platform 4.2.0.108) via the desktop software that comes with the phone. Works perfectly now!
