Default Changed coolant reservoir

Over the last few weeks the sensor on my coolant reservoir failed, and the tank developed a small leak, so I ordered a replacement tank on eBay and finally got around to installing it today. To my surprise, the bottom of the old reservoir was filled with a sludge like very wet mud, but it had not gone into the radiator because of the position of the coolant hose. Not hard at all to change. I dumped the bottom pressure clamp and replaced it with a screw-drive hose clamp, which will be much easier to remove the next time. The cap on the reservoir I bought did not lock and align the same way as the OEM cap, but I found that I could use the OEM cap with the new reservoir just fine. I threw the new cap into the toolbox as a spare. The float sensor connector fit just fine, same with the front drain hose connections. The low coolant level false error message is gone and no more loss of coolant.

Had the same issue with the cap... need to press down *really* hard while turning to get it to engage the threads. Then it's fine.

Both the caps I have engage the threads just fine with no force. The non-OEM doesn't stop threading at the right spot.
