My alternator and battery went out so I replaced both which sucked price wise and mechanically wise because of how hard it is to get to, but now it's another issue. I fixed it night before last and drove it for the first time yesterday and it was fine except it had a couple moments of lost power at first. Shut it off when I arrived where I was going, upon coming out there was no issue starting it at all. Backed out of my parking spot and put it in drive and it shut down. Started it back up and it died again, ect....I had to call for a tow truck to pick it up. I'm stumped and really have no idea...

If the LR2 won't start you need to Undock the key and then re dock it

Do the following

Here is my recommendation of what I would do if I were in your position

* If LR2 doesn't start

* remove the key from the dock

* dock the key (don't step on the brake)

* press the start button (Hold it for 2 seconds and the Radio should turn on)

* count to three

* step on the brake and hold it down

* count to three

* press the start button (The engine should start)

* select gear and release the brake


Note: If I leave my key docked and I hot soak my LR2 (engine warm, press stop but leave key docked) then after 5 minutes it wont start, If I follow the steps listed above then all is good
