I already tighten the 3 bolts and it's still leaking fluid. What part is this? It only leaks several minutes after the engine is turned off. Please see the pic red arrow pointing to the leaking part.
Thanks

That is an oil level sensor. It has a gasket. Tightening the bolts when it leaks will not stop the leak. Changing the gasket will, if it is not the sensor that is leaking. If it is the sensor the part number is LR004256 and it costs between $180 and $215.
Never seen this one light up when you first start the engine and then it goes out?
Should be the indicator labeled #2.
One interesting piece of info is that if the oil pressure sensor fails the ECU switches to monitoring the coolant temperature. Not sure what the logic is on that one, but there it is.
I thought that was an oil pressure indicator. Does the car also have an oil level indicator? I believe a few do, maybe more common in newer cars?
I could see the benefit of oil level warning... if the oil pressure warning triggers, you'll probably wipe some crank/cam bearings by the time you pull over and shutdown (saw that happen once in my buddy's car). If you were idling and shutdown instantly, might be OK.

The LR2 does not have an oil pressure sensor. The little warning icon shows a drop coming off the spout. That's your sign that the car is telling you to add oil.
Holy moleed, have you looked at the physics and math behind trying to estimate oil pressure in an engine with variable valve timing? Designing the Apollo moon lander would be a children's game compared to that.
If I were the engineering manager I would tell the person who suggested this to tell me how they would justify the cost of that vs. installing a simple pressure-activated switch sensor.
(Which BTW says how simple it would be to add an oil pressure sensor and indicator to the LR2, most likely installing the sensor in line with the incoming oil line on the oil cooler...)
