Default Locking gas cap

Hello everyone! With the craziness of the gas prices I'm looking to switch my gas cap for one with a lock. I can't seem to find any online, has anyone does this before or have a recommendation for where to get one? TIA

Someone else asked this same question 9 years ago and no one answered.

Well, I was going to send you there... and then I noticed it is not locking! OK, trying to find a suitable solution...

I have been wondering about the same thing for a long time. My 2013 has an inbuilt locking latch for the outer cover and I have even seen a fuse in the passenger footwell fusebox.
In my car it looks Iike the plastic lock was broken when someone forced open the fuel lid. I never knew it existed until I saw the fuse.
Does this lock and unlock when you lock your car?

The part no with locking is LR006363 and without locking is lr006364. Has anyone replaced this part?

The OP didn't tell us what year he has. 2013 is different from 2008-2012.

This part is listed as 2008 - 2010 on HSE and on all trims from 2011.
Its a thin plastic lock so I guess it breaks easily if you force open the fuel lid. Typical "reliable" design from Land Rover.

The service manual talks about a fuel filler flap release motor fuse but in predictable LR style, there is ZERO mention of this anywhere else in the manual.

I read somewhere that the LR2 has an anti-siphon device installed, but I never tried siphoning fuel so I don't know for sure. That wouldn't prevent a vandal from putting something foreign into your fuel tank, if that's a concern.

There are supplementary solutions, like Fly's 9mm S&W.
