So, can you folks who have diesels maybe confirm the bottom skid plates are otherwise the same?
Once again the EU used parts market saves the day. Found a used but very clean LR006779 in Belgium for €140.75 including shipping to the US. I will update the thread when I get it.

What is the length of the bolts, and do they have flanged heads? The LR catalog says they are M10x25mm and the nuts are retained by M10 "U" retainer nuts.

Flanged, shaft is 25mm. Also has a built-in lock washer.

Pretty sure you could get away with longer, or just a generic bolt with a washer.

Ok, those are easy to find if it doesn't come with them. Thanks!

The washer has lock serrations which match serrations on the bolt flange.

See post #10 above. They get pricey if you are buying all 6 of them.

How many of these does the LR2 skid plate need? I thought it was four. Now I am wondering if the skid plate I bought comes with the bolts.

It's six, two in the back, two in the front, and one on each side.

Also the retainer nuts might still be on your car, the clips are pretty tight. Guess they might be rusty though in your neck of the woods.
