Default LR2 Power Window Control Module Bad?

2011 LR2 Front driver and passenger windows unresponsive. When button is pushed, a click can be heard from the Power Window Control Module but no movement. Click comes from window module at window not working. No Click from working rear windows. Front windows stopped in full up position about a month apart

There are two input to the front driver side window module.... Unplugging one interrupts power to both windows on driver side while disconnecting other interrupts power to both front and rear passenger windows.

GAP II shows no faults.
Autel MaxiAP AP200 Obd2 Scanner bought for key making got:
Passenger side: Front door glass position sensor
Driver side: Front door Sensor supply 1

Also, rear passenger window did not work today until all cleared withAutel scanner. However the auto up at rear passenger window was lost.

Seems highly likely one or both front power window modules are bad... Guessing front driver module IS BAD... But front passenger???? I can't seem to get a good pen test, so unsure. Anybody with experience here helpful

I'm a bit disappointed GAP scan didnt do better here... maybe I use GAP in a way that would of pointed to the issue. At $60 the Autel does not come close to the GAP, but does fill in a few blanks

If the window position sensor is out the service manual recommends using the manufacturer diagnostic system. The JLR/SDD system with the Mongoose cable. The cheap scanners won't help.

Would replacing the power window module correct the issue?

Why would you start replacing modules without knowing exactly what is going on? Modules have to be programmed as well to pair them with the car. You will need the JLR SDD for that too. If you look here in the forum you will find where you can purchase the Mongoose cable. The software comes with it.

Cant find anything online on the Window Position Sensor... I'm thought the module could reset and learn position via pressure, amp load, or other method... I'm guessing here. My indi LR machanic has not been around and the dealer doesn't work on anything this old. So hoping a new module could be the fix

Your independent mechanic should have the JLR SDD system. Otherwise, they won't be able to change the module and get it to work. But that also means they could properly diagnose it first before starting to change parts at random.

Perhaps I am only finding old info about the JLR SSD... but it seems a tough one to sort. If the JLR SSD is well sorted and stable without a virtual machine, I would love to know more about it. On the good side, the LR tech is back. So will be taking the window issue there in a week or so

The SDD software is not exactly user friendly.
