Off Road or Burly All Terrain tires for 19 inch wheels?
I am looking to outfit my soon to be purchased Land Rover LR2 with some decent traction tires. I live in Montana, and am not a huge off roader, but due to where I live, I do end up off the road from time to time, and we have severe winters. So I would like to get some decent traction tires and give the LR2 a little more of an off road look as well.
I was looking at the Nitto Terra Grappler tires, and have heard great things about them, but I can't find them in 19", which is apparently the size of the wheels on an LR2 HSE.
Does anyone know if I can get those tires in 19" or is there anything else comparable that does come in 19"?

Sizes
I've been facing the fact that I have to replace the crappy OEM 19" Conti 4x4 Contacts. They were done at 22-23k and their traction on minor off road conditions is laughable......
I'm also trying to get confirmation that a 255 will not rub anywhere. Would be nice if we got an answer like...yes I have them on my LR2 and they do not rub...instead of yep they fit....As asked earlier, how do you know they fit?
If you can get SOLID confirmation that there will be no problems, you may want to look at the 255/50R19 instead of the 255/55R19. The 255/50 is the closest match to the 235/55R19's diameter.
The 255/50R19 is .4% diameter difference (speedo will read 60.1 at 60mph) and there are 30 or more different tires in this size to choose from.
The 255/55R19 is 2.9% diameter difference (speedo will read 58.2 at 60mph), but there is about half as many tires in this size.
But, like my towing questions I asked on here when I first got the LR2, I'll end of buying a set of 255/50R19s to get an answer to my own questions...

Maybe the 255/55R19 would be good despite the speedo difference....Becasue I just saw these Goodyear AT tires at Sears.

Those are awesome looking tires! But the picture doesn't look like a 55 series tire. The profile looks too high. But if they really look like that in 55 series, count me in. I was looking at these Cooper Zeon LTZ tires.
They aren't quite as burly as the ones you found, but the best I could find otherwise.
I have checked with two different tire stores, and both said they will fit. One even did some measurements. I also have heard from another person that has 255/60R19 on his LR2 and has confirmed they fit without spacers or any modification. He also said there is no rubbing.
So I am beginning to think they will fit. But it would be nice to get a confirmation from someone if they are running with these tires on their LR2.
The Coopers are cheaper, but those Goodyears are pretty cool. I might have to look into those more. I used to have Goodyear Wrangler's on my old Xterra and loved them.
If anyone can confirm the 255/55R19 actually do fit on the LR2, please let us know.
