Radio and gps turning on but not working
Hi I just bougt a 2008 lr2 with the navigation screen, when I turn ti on the land rover logo apears and then it disapears.
The radio also turns on but only apears the hour. I already checked for broken cables by removing the screen and radio, also checked the amplifer but it seems everything is ok. please help or any recomendations you can give.
If some one help me solve this the chep way I will invite you to a beach In Mexico!

The problem you are going to have with this is that while the computer can give you the error codes that tell you what is wrong with the entertainment system, garden variety readers will not read those codes because they don't start with a P-xxxx and they are not engine or emissions related. You need a reader that can read those specialized codes to tell you what is wrong. You may want to try going to an Autozone or other auto parts retail store. They will usually hook up one of their more advanced readers and tell you what codes show up. Write them down and then come tell us what it says. The service manual explains what the codes mean.
Alternatively, you have two other options, go to the dealer or trial-and-error. It could be something as simple as a disconnected connection to one of the modules. Or it could be that the entire head needs to be replaced. Without error codes its hard to tell.
