Already tried that, it doesn't show the SAT at all..reading the threads here apparently I need to remove the panel in the tailgate area to find the Sirius transponder ID number. Having issues removing the panel and was asking if anyone had pictures showing how to actually do it and where the transponder is actually located. Thanks for your response though, much appreciated 👍

If the instructions I gave you don't work, and the radio screen does not show the Sirius logo when you turn it on, either you have no sat radio box or it's dead. You should probably check the fuse first before starting to dismantle anything. If the fuse is fine, the box is behind the rear left quarter trim panel in the cargo compartment. However, there's nothing to repair in that box, if it's dead you have to get a new one and cofigure it with the JLR SDD software and a Mongoose cable.

It shows the logo when I turn the truck on, but not on the radio when depressing FM. Saw in the threads that I need to remove this panel to get the Sirius ID number and call. Once done it will update on my radio. Was asking if any had pictures of how to get the panel off as I am more of a visual learner. Picture and or video would be beneficial. Thanks for your quick response.

I was just editing my message to show where it is located. See above. But even if you don't have a subscription you should be able to select SAT 1 or SAT 2 by repeatedly pressing the FM button. Check to make sure all the connections to the Sirius box are still connected and clean, free of dust or any other foreign matter.

I did try that as well. Just have to find a video that shows how to pull the panel itself off to get the number on be the box. Thanks again for everything

No video is needed. The service manual, for which download links have been posted here for a while now, has the instructions with pictures.

BTW, if you call Sirius to activate service and you give them the VIN number of your car, it will tell them there is no satellite radio in the car. Ignore them, just give them the Radio ID, which is the Sirius device ID either on the radio display or on the box in the rear.

Thanks. I tried that first with no success. Ended up getting the rear trim pieces off and found the Sirius BBox in exactly where the group said it would be and finally enjoying my Sirius music channels again. I thank you for the response.
