Default Speaker issue with aftermarket amp and head unit

The person before me removed and bypassed the oem amp and replaced the head unit. Now the only speakers that seem to work is the front driver and the rear subwoofer. No mater what combinations I use (of course all the wires are the same colors) thats the only speakers that work. Am I missing something somewhere?

Who knows what hacks hava been done... I quite like the oem solution. It works. It sounds great.
Truly, to do it right, all the wiring should be replaced.
I assume you have some electrical background and you have not disturbed the impedance by wrongfully wiring it up. And that your new amplifier actually works on all channels.

I am starting to think I have no clue about electronics. What doesn't make sense is that even if I plug in the right front speaker to where the left front speaker is working the right doesn't work.

Those speakers are probably 4 ohms, but you can measure the resistance of the working left speaker with a multimeter to verify. Then measure the resistance of the non-working right speaker. If it's an open circuit, or a much different resistance than 4 ohms, you probably have a wiring or connection issue to that speaker, or the speaker itself is bad.
