Hello everyone. New to the LR family and still working my way through the forum to get a lot of questions answered. Have a 2009 LR2 and just had a new key programed. It starts the vehicle just fine, but nothing happens when I try to lock/unlock the vehicle. What am I missing here? Thanks.

The key of a LR2 has a rechargeable battery. You can start the car when the battery in the key is empty but you cannot open doors when it's empty. The battery will charge when the key is inserted in the car. Use the key to start the car and drive around for a while to charge the battery in the key, maybe it is just empty.
