I previously did a head gasket on my 2009 bmw 328i. Now, my LR3's head gasket blew due to some craziness with a broken axle and the car destroying itself on a trip from Anchorage, AK to Seattle, WA. All mechanical parts are now fixed, but a shop diagnosed the blown head gasket. It does show some white smoke when idling, but it isn't a ton. They did do the test to show it was getting exhaust fumes in the coolant overflow tank. I need a DIY guide. does anyone have one, with estimate labor time/parts cost?
