Default Adding Auto headlights off

2006 North American SE

Has anyone ever added Auto headlights off? The switch with the trim is easily replaceable but I'm wondering if there is programing in the CBJ that will not allow it.

Does anyone have any experience doing this?

I'm not sure what you're asking.

If you put your headlights in the auto position they will turn off with the vehicle. In any other position the headlights turn off with the key but the marker and tail lights will stay on.

Mine does not have auto

I've replaced the switch with one that has auto but it did not work....I'm wondering what else I need to do if I replace the switch with one with auto to make it work.

Weird... thought the US market was all automatic with the LR3. I would guess the CCF needs to be edited to reconfigure the truck for automatic lights, in addition to the switch. Pretty sure all lighting is controlled in the CJB so I don't think there is a separate module for lighting that would need to be swapped.
