Air Intake Filter is hiding!
Hi everyone,
2006 LR3 started running really bad today. I replaced the air filter. Cleaned throttle body. I replaced the MAF 6 months ago.
I’m getting 2 error codes P0113 & P0102. One is for the MAF & the other is for the Intake Air sensor. I removed, cleaned & re-installed the MAF today - no change and same codes.
My question is WHERE is the Intake Air Temperature sensor located?? (P0113) Is the intake air sensor part of the MAF? Please be very specific and a picture would be fantastic. I have looked all over the internet and have found nothing about where it’s located. It’s like the best kept secret ever.
Please help. I need to get my truck running asap.
Thanks in advance!

Since you provide no details, I will assume the V8. The V8 air intake temp sensor is the MAF sensor. The MAF sensor determines air mass based on temperature difference across two wires using a temperature sensor. And with the LR3, the MAF is thus a combination sensor. If you are not using an OEM sensor or Denso, it can easily be the issue. That or you bought what you thought was OEM/Denso from a less than reputable seller and got one of the numerous counterfeits.
