Default Air strut replacement question

I ordered 2 front air struts to be replaced by my local garage. I know they must be decompressed before removing. The vehicle has been sitting for a couple of weeks and all of the shocks have lowered completely. If I remove the compressor fuse before starting and take it in to the garage, can they be removed without having go through the decompression process? Thanks.

They can unscrew the air line at the strut a little and and bleed some air that way.

Trying to save the mechanic some time on this job (and me some money), but was not sure how much pressure would still be left so it would be safe. I figured most of the pressure is out now, so this shouldn't pose too much safety risk by skipping the normal decompression process at the valve block.

Thanks

They can do it as stated by simply sloooowly cracking off the air fitting.

the usual procedure is to slowly open a Voss connectors on the front Valve block until you hear a hissing and leave it at that. It takes only a few minutes to deflate air bags , that way you don't have to use any diagnostic computers to properly deflate air struts.

If your trying to save $, replace them yourself. Connecting the airline is the hardest part. The rest is pretty straight forward.

Agreed, one of the easier fixes on your LR3.
