Air Supension
I took my 2007 LR3 for Brake Rotor and Pad replacement and now my air suspension light is on. In addition it has lowered to access height and I now I do not want to drive it low. In addition the technicians at the auto shop stated that the memory blank. What should I do?
Or they may have upset one of the height sensors - get the fault codes read to find out what the system believes is wrong...
It may also be coincidence.
Hi,
I have a somewhat similar problem. I own a 2007 Disco 3. It had one prior owner, is in spotless condition, low mileage and with full service history. I also picked-up an HDC suspension error with the orange light coming on (within a minute or so of the engine being switched on). First, we replaced the air sensors (all four of them), then the battery, now the diagnostic test points to the air compressor filing up too slowly, and so the car will only operate in 'normal height' mode. The prognosis is that it will only get worse and I would need to replace the compressor, at a cost of up to 1 000 pounds.
What is interesting, though, is that if I choose 'off-road' height model, the error does not come on. This is surprising as I would expect the compressor to work as hard, maybe even harder, when the suspension is raised.
Any advice? I would hate to spend such money unless it is the correct course of action and will solve this problem for good.
Would appreciate your help.

If you are getting the "pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir" (C1A20) code and you can hear the compressor running okay, it may be you need to get the dryer cleaned/replaced and the valve refurb kit. Depends on the exact error code - not sure why you replaced the height sensors unless they were called out in a diagnostic code...
Thank you. I do hear the pump located just behind the rear left wheel (the vehicle is a right-hand drive, in South-Africa). It sounds normal for a pump.
Does anyone know where I could purchase such a dryer? Preferably in South-Africa, otherwise online (I have come across www.landrovermerriamparts.com)
Thanks.

Take a look at this DIY attempt if you can't get a dryer...
