Default Air suspension problems.

Sorry if I duplicate other topic but after scrolling 25 pages I did not find any information that will help.

So the problem when you stop, slow down to 5mph on normal hight or open rear right door rover deflate rear right air strut. But when you parked car still have same hight after 3 days no leaking air issue. When car on off road hight no issue while driving or park.
Thank you for all your responses.

Sincerely.

Geez....not too sure without more info. Could be a calibration issue or a failing compressor.

Weird. Its like the city buses that drop down to make it easy to get in/out. I would immediately suspect a bad height sensor or faulty electronic air suspension (EAS) computer (ECU), except you just had service done. When you have the control arms replaced, was it at a Land Rover dealer? They will do an alignment which also resets the ride height settings. That very well could have triggered this issue. I would start with asking them to re-flash the EAS ECU and redo the height calibration.

Coincidentally, I just had my control arms replaced and it FIXED a seemingly unrelated problem. Ever since putting larger tires on a couple years ago, I would ALWAYS get momentary DSC warnings and ABS braking in some twisty corners of the road we live on. I have had several alignments since the tires, but after this last alignment, no more warnings. Now when I push it fast into the corners its just my wife giving me the warnings.

Good luck!

Yeah if the alignment is off then the wheel angle sensors could push funny readings to the EAS ECU and cause a fault.

Job was perform at Mark's Japanese and European alignment has been done by Big O right after control arms replacement. I found yesterday talking with Mark's mechanics that they not have proper tools/computer and etc. to perform job's Land Rover's. Good to know after they work on my car.
So I called to other shop that perform jobs only on European cars. Guy I talk with was very good in communication, ask me what problem I have with my car without even asking what make and model I have. And after I describe problem he reply : So I can schedule you on Monday 3pm for diagnostic/calibration your LR3 with V8 and this is 2006 model or newer. So I was surprise with this guy knowledge.
I will keep update.

I suggest biting the bullet and taking it to a Land Rover dealership for an alignment. They need to be put into Tight Tolerance Mode and with higher mileage vehicles getting them to take an alignment can be tricky. Last time I did mine, because tabs that are welded to the frame are wearing out, it had to be done on a Bentley (alignment) rack.

agreed. Alignment is the one (maybe only) service that I always take to the Land Rover Dealer.
