Default Assistance with Routine Maintenance

I need to get an oil change so figured I'd do routine maintenance but not sure what else to have done. I have a 2005 LR3 that I have had for 4 years and going to have the Oil changed, belts checked, transmission and radiator flushed.

Is there anything else I may need to have done?

how many miles on the vehicle?

at 45k you change the brake fluid and at 60k the air filter and the 75k the tc and the locking rear diff.

but its not a bad idea to change the transmission fluid as long as its done by a machine. Do it youself and you will be screwed. The fluid is very expensive.

This is not a discovery one or two. Everything else is expensive and needs to be done by trained professionals.

Isnt the transmission a sealed system in the LR3? Also any idea where to get that TC fluid other than the dealer.... I have researched and it seems it is a special grade it calls for. Called Autozone, Advance, Carquest, no answers on matching the fluid

maintenance is alot cheaper then a disco 2. But due to the fact that most of the vehicle is tied into all the systems without the proper equipment like a hawkeye, IDS, or blackbox you have to see a land rover dealer for proper diagnosis.

I used Ford Mercon SP in mine, but you would want to research very very carefully before changing from the ZF branded fluid, that is a U.S. $5,000 transmission so no mistakes!

Well now I am pretty red-faced, I never even looked at the date! I'll attempt to be more vigilant in the future...

YES BUT; for those who may not have it, maybe this pdf will help answer some questions.
(as a public service announcement of course)
