Default Audio Connectivity Module

Has anyone installed or know more about the "Audio Connectivity Module" available from the dealer? It's supposedly a plug and play addition to the audio system that allows you to use an Ipod, MP3, USB or Aux input. It has a connection hub that mounts in the glovebox. I'm assuming it would allow you to control the sources from the factory head unit?

Any additional info would be great asI am very interested in purchasing.

I have the one and it works great. We have the ipod that we use and we just loaded up a 4G USB with MP3s and have it to use in the glovebox. It works by using the steering wheel to change the songs and work the volume. We paid 300 dollars at the time of delivery to add it and I thought that was a great price.

Thanks for the info! So the hub mounts neatly in the glovebox? Does it charge the Ipod while using it?

It fits into the top of the Glove box handing down and is out of the way. It does charge the Ipod. Enjoy

I'm extremely interested in this option! Does it show song titles on the radio display? I'm hoping to be getting an 08 HSE around Christmas time and so I will want this option for sure! Any pictures of the module or screens? If you have Sat Radio do you loose this? I understand you use the aux button for sat radio, does this button work the audio (ipod) module with more presses of the button to scroll between sat and ipod? Thanks a million in advance for a response!
