Hello there,
Have you recently restored your headlights? What product did you use? what do you recommend? I need to do mine while there's no rain.. or did you just replace them outright?

Wet sand with 2000 grit
Polish with a cutting compound
Polish with a finishing polish (if needed)
Hit it with a UV resistant sealant (optional)
Believe it or not....but choose Turtle Wax Headlight Restorer!
I watched a few YouTube videos and one in particular tested all of the major brands. And while I will confirm that normal wet sanding & polish with the correct paper grit, buffer, etc is the best, Turtle Wax Headlight Restorer is excellent! It beat all the other products, including Meguirs, which did poorly actually. Introduce a good buffer, proper pads, and "real" compounds and the result will be even better. My photos reflect just the Turtle Wax product and their procedures. BEFORE LEFT SIDE AFTER LEFT SIDE BEFORE RIGHT SIDE AFTER RIGHT SIDE
I don't think either of my LR3s need this, but after seeing this pic as a new standard, I may go look at them again. In particular, the '06 lives outside, so I'll see how it looks. I live in the state of Washington (hence the "WA" in my login) and on the western side of the state at that....it doesn't exactly get hot 'n sunny here that often!
When you're using the supplied sandpapers lean on it pretty hard as you sand, especially in the beginning when you are getting rid of most of the yellow oxidized plastic. Be sure to keep everything well lubricated and rinsed off.
The Turtle Wax UV sealer really completes the job well and makes the lens extra clear.

For the cost and effort, I just replaced the clear front with a headlight repair kit. Looks like new because......... it is new.
Just letting you know there are other options besides sanding and polishing.
