Default Best Synthetic Oil for 200K LR3 4.4 V8..?

Hi..my LR3 has high miles..near 200k
what is the best Synthetic Oil ...not particularly brand just type..When we start the car it's a little noisy..so I wait a minute and it settles to quiet before taking off.

I use Castrol GTX 5w30 Ultraclean Synthetic Blend because I can't find the GTX Conventional near me any more

(And it's super cheap at Walmart)

I used Royal Purple 5W30 HPS with a LR filter. Vehicle ran very happily on that. It's for higher mileage engines.

I was using Castrol synth blend until I found out that it can contain as little as 1% synthetic. 5w-30. I now use Mobile 1 full synthetic for high millage vehicles.

Thanks for the advise..I had the mechanic use the Royal Purple Synthetic recommend.
I had also bought the Atlantic British Transmission oil service and he did that at the same time today..fingers crossed all goes well.
That is due every 90k miles so this is the second time we have done it as we have 186k miles.
When we start it it sounds rough..a bit metallic sounding..it sounds like that on cold start for about 30-40 seconds and then it just relaxes and gets quiet.
Mechanic said we were low on engine oil..where could it have gone : (
We will have our test day driving around tommorow.
I hope everything goes smoothly.
A month ago we did two front Air Struts..front Brakes Rotors and a brake fluid line that was leaking.Next fix ..heat..no heat on left side and maybe a tune up.This is a wonderful car..we enjoy going around in it so much. : )

Default 30-40 seconds...?

I was thinking VVT Gear but that is more like 2-3 seconds not 30. Maybe make a video clip of it and upload it here.

I use Castrol Edge 5 W 30 and LR/ Jaguar filters.
At about 5,000 KM i put in two cans of STP and the engine just purrs till i service at 10,000KM.
Used to do this with my LR 4.
