Default Biggest wheels with out rubbing

Hello all! I'm new and glad to be here.

I have a 2006 LR3 HSE that I just picked up a few days ago.

I plan on selling the stock 19' wheels and wrangler tires. I want to get some after-market wheels, but have a dilemma.
What is the largest wheel size I can slap on there with out any rubbing issues? When parked, I generally drop it down to access height. So, I'll be doing "parking lot driving." Or in other words, turing the wheel all the way with the suspension all the way down. A little rubbing is ok, but excessive wont fly. I've been looking at some 24'. Will those work? I also plan on using low profile tires, so that gives me a little more room. Also, what bolt pattern does the LR3 use? Oh, and what about offset? Sorry, I'm pretty much clueless. Basically, I'm asking what do I have to look for when I decide on a set.

Please advise.

William

I just purchased 9.5 x 22" wheels and tires and used a tire sizing calculator online to determine the outside diameter of the 22's with low profile tires as compared to stock. You can find these calcultors by searching on Google for 'tire sizing calculator. You type in the stock tire size and then compare to the custom size you want. It will give you percentagedifferences as well as any difference in the speedometer as a result.

Don't listen to the idiots at the tire shops.

How much do you want for the 19 in wheels? What part of the country are you located? I am have 18 in wheels and their is not a lot of options on the tire selection like there is on the 19in.

You must be looking for low profile tires. There's actualy more selection on the All terrain and all season tires in the 18" than the 19".

Is there any issue with going to the 265 vs the stock 255?

If you are asking me, I think my stock wheels are 18". I can double check later. I am on Long Island, NY.
