Default Bit of a Sway

Not sure if this is normal, my wife drives the LR3. I notice when I drive it has a bit of a sway to it. Makes me feel like im not in total control of the car. Maybe I am just used to my stiff truck, but it seems to sway back and forth, more so at highway speeds. More noticeable with the vehicle fully loaded. Any advice or words to put my mind at ease would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Should not sway, ours is tight like a sports car, bushings wore out?

This is also due to your tires and pressures.

The original OEM tires had a stiffer sidewall and although the Pirelli Scorpion Zeros I have now are better all around I had to get used to the softer sidewall and the additional "sway" that came with them. Upping the pressures helps.

I have another car that I switch between. Whenever I get back into the truck, it feels different, and then after a few minutes, it has a familiar feel. Maybe this is the same for you?

Ok, then perhaps this is normal. If not possibly due to the tires. I have synchrones right now. The 19's are a nightmare to find tires for. I bought a set of 18" LR3 wheels for $75. I was pretty happy about that, thinking of getting the Hankook Dynapro ATMs. Anyway, my wife doesnt seemed to be bothered by the sway so I guess it should be fine.

Thanks for the replies

Yes sir....I think the guy must have been desperate for cash. I watched them go from $200 down to $75 on CL. Even though I had just bought tires for my 19s I figured it would save me money down the road.

Update on the sway. I put the 18s on with a set of Hankook Dynapro ATMs. Sway is gone and this Disco looks like a beast. Thanks for the tips. This site is a gold mine for Land Rover guys smarter than I.
