BMW X5 Wheels
Hi, I own a 2005 LR3. It's got the stock 19" wheels and I really want to move to 18" I know the BMW X5 hole pattern is the same but do the wheels bolt right on, no spacers? I found these used and was hoping to snag them. Thanks for any help. This truck will not be doing heavy offroad. Mostly logging roads etc.

Wow! Thanks for posting that, Dakota.
I have a single spare tire (larger size, for wheelin') on an X5 rim and while I did test fit the rim way back when, I don't think I ever fit a lugnut to the lug bolts, so I likely would have found out the hard way that my LR lugnuts won't clear. I will go buy 5 of the lugnuts from the youtube video ASAP!

Ah . . . the you tubes . . . 9 and half minutes to say "you need 14x1.5 cone seat, that are 35mm+ deep."
But beside bolt pattern, center bore, and offset . . . people should know about weight ratings.
LR wheels have higher limits than most, because our vehicles are so heavy.
So buyer beware in using non-oem wheels that may be pushed beyond their original limits.

Right? That guy makes horrible videos.... Just get to the damn point!
BMW wheel weight ratings are easy to look up, they are often on par with Rover even on lighter BMWs. Still, one should look them up to be safe. My concern is lug size. LR3 lugs are HUGE while the ones used to adapt BMW wheels have much less surface area. Issue? Likely not, but I really like how robust Rover lugs are.

Since your wheels are from an X5 the wheel stud holes should be larger as the X5 used 14mm lugs instead of the 12mm like the cars. Also since they are from an X5 they probably have a higher weight rating since the X5 is a bigger vehicle. Some regular 14mm x 1.5mm lug nuts and you should be good to mount them.
