Default funky fasteners

I think those fasteners are the same as the ones that hold the plastic wheel well liners inside the wheel well - the kind where the inside pin pulls upwards to allow the perimeter shell to compress.

Those fasteners are also used on other vehicles and hence can be found at NAPA in one of those miscellaneous fasteners bins they have in the common display area.

Default Brush Bar brackets cheap!

Well, maybe not cheap but a better price than from LR - probably about fifty dollars landed from the UK per the link below, and they include all the fasteners.

Default Ok this is awesome!!!

...and thank you so much for sharing.

I've never used this app or even a 3D printer, really, other than messing around at the library of my alma mater. How do I go about making several of these with the files you linked?

hi again! the file from thingiverse needs to be downloaded then loaded into a slicer program to make the file for the 3d printer, then job is loaded into the printer, and about 1hr later you have each part. any 3d printing shop can turn this file into a part, for me it required about $0.68 of material to print, per side. i wouldnt imagine a print shop charging more than $5-10 perside for their time. For material, PETG or ABS is very durable, PLA is a plastic that is very easy to print with however it will soften around 60degC, so not good for automotive use. I may add a thicker version to thingiverse later, but i think these ones serve the purpose and id rather wreck the part i can make new rather than the grill that it attaches to. Here are a couple of other items i designed and made for my LR3 that someone here might find interesting...

Default Thanks...

...I just remembered that the female part is also broken on my brush bar setup. So those brackets won't help much, really.

Thanks @Jrs824 . I downloaded and mirrored your bracket1 file as you explained, so I now have the other bracket needed as well. I used makexyz.com to have the files printed in ABS. ~$13.00 each plus shipping.

Thanks for your help here!

Ours broke too and got lost. This maybe an old forum thread but just FYI on the LR3 Brush Guard replacement hardware that Land Rover discontinued the line completely. Ive called around and contacted Rover. No on carries it in stock and they no longer make the hardware nor the brush guard anymore. We are going to find some steel and bend it to fit then spray paint it black. Such a shame.

Hoping this works when I get them back from makexyz. Cost was $29.80 for a set. Thanks Jrs824.

I'm curious what you ended up doing and whether it worked. I just ordered the suggested 3D fabricated parts.
