Buying a Service Loaner

Buying a Service Loaner
I am close to purchasing an 08' HSE (+ Lux Pkg) w/4,050 miles on the car. Currently the dealer is offering me $9k off of MSRP, which is approx $58k. I have heard that when a dealer registers a car as a loaner he gets an added incentive from Land Rover, can anyone tell me if this is true? Does this seem likea fair price? Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated, first time poster!
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: Buying a Service Loaner
I payed 10k below sticker on a new 06 with everything at the very end of the 06 run. The 07s were due out in a couple of months or so. You are not at the end of the 08 run but it has a few miles on it already so it's kind of the same boat, I think. I think it sounds fair to me.

Just my opinion....
You can do a lot better for $58k...Even pick up 2 2005 LR3 HSE's for the same price. Why not go used (30k miles) and save money??? The 2005s are still under warranty assuming they have less than 50k miles and are you would save so much money. I bought my wife's2005 LR3 HSE in 2007 for $34k precertified from Land Rover. I bought my 2003 Range Rover last year from a private party, transfered their precertified warranty to my name and paid the guy $26k. It's nice to have new, or in your case slightly new. But, is it really worth all that extra money. If possible, take your time and shop around and a better deal will come. Hope this helped. Again, my opinion. I wish you the best on your purchase.
