C1A20 suspension fault after rust-proofing
Hope the title makes sense. I just spent my Saturday under my vehicle with a wire wheel and a few cans of rust-prevention stuff. I got everything coated pretty nicely. I went to drive it today and I got the c1a20 code. It happened 3 times in a row so I guess it’s real. The compressor kicks on for about a minute then the fault pops up. It’s not on when I turn off and turn back on.
So my question is: did the coating potentially cause this issue? Did it plug up an air intake or something forcing this to happen?

There's the C1A20 code, obviously. But I will get the other codes today as well. I need to check and see if some wiring was hit somewhere in there as well
I have had this same thing happen. I sprayed BOESHIELD on my underside and after got a fault code. I don't remember the code but the verbiage was something about pressure not decreasing. I figured I got some of the stuff on an exhaust hole. After it all dried up, it never came back.

Do you know where exactly the intake is? I thought it was clear up by the gas fill tube... Maybe I got something into an exhaust valve that's stuck open now?
Intake is in the LH rear storage compartment so its unlikely to got anything in there, normally that code is due to the compressor requiring a service.
It could just be complete coincidence, but your compressor sounds like it needs new desiccant. If your LR3 isn't uneven in the morning after pulling the air suspension fuse overnight, then it's unlikely to be related to a leak. Desiccant is SUPER cheap on amazon, and the lr3 rebuild kits usually come with all the seals, filters and desiccant you need.
