I have a 06 lr3 v8, my CEL came on the other day so I had the codes read. I was told that I need a new camshaft sensor on bank 2 (drivers side) does anyone know where the sensor is located? I have not been able to find any info about it anywhere. I have also been having a hard start the last few weeks.

Iirc back of head but could be wrong, I think the sensors sticking out of the valve covers in front are for variable valve timing

 

Yes, out the back of the head closest in to the intake I believe.
