Default Can a rear diff. be retro fitted?

Hello everyone!

I am new to this forum, and new to the world of Land Rover.

My name is Jens and I live in Norway.

I have just bought a slightly used 2006 Kava Black LR3 SE with the 2.7 litre V6 engine. The car has everything I need (as it will be my company car), but the optional rear diff. lock is missing. (I actually misstook the active centre diff. in the specifications for the lockable rear diff, stupid I know!).

Anyway, is it possible to retrofit this option?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards

Jens

I believ that something can be done. I would suggest you go to this link, http://www.greatbasinrovers.com/ and address your question to Bill, the owner of Great Basins Rover. He is by far the most knowlediable person I know when it comes to Rovers and their diffs.
