Man its harder to get answers these days. I am moving to France and would prefer to take my Canadian/North American purchased 2006 LR3SE7/Discovery3 with me but need to find out if its compliant with French Regs for import and daily use. Its obviously LHD which helps but try getting any ANY type of intelligent answer out of Land Rover anywhere is like banging your head against a brick wall.

compliant yes, we have higher safety standards but the car will need to be cleaned and a few other things. Plus it will take longer to get to the destination and thru customs. its quite easier to buy another vehicle in France. Keep the LR3 in storage and you will be fine.
