CEL - Misfiring Cylinders
Just came back from a nice long vacation to my 3 which has been sitting for a month. Went to turn her over and go a nice new light to read, a CEL. I haven't had any codes for a few months and she was doing just fine before sitting for those few weeks.
Went Advance Auto to have the code read and I got P0361, and was shown I had 5 cylinders misfiring, #1, #2, #5, #6, and #8.
Do I need to start replacing the coil packs then? Is this even a DIY situation with normal tools? Might these misfires go away with a fresh tank of gas and a long drive? Startup was lazy the first few times, could it be electrical issues making this worse?
Was given a maximum estimate by the LR dealer of $1200 if I had to get all 5 replaced. Any thoughts appreciated.

Just as an update of sorts for posterity, I suspected a low voltage on startup after leaving the thing sitting for that period of time.
Performed a hard reset, light disappeared, has not since returned, truck running as normal.

Glad to hear you're sorted. That was my assumption. These trucks are very touchy with electrics! I think if I was going to leave it more than a week sitting I'd put it on a trickle charger / maintainer.
