Default Code p0138 help please

Hello to all you LR lovers out ther!

I have a 2007 LR3 HSECANADA, and I LOVE it!
My engine light has just come on. I took it to AutoValue and had the code read for me.
Code that comes up is P0138 and the message is "coolant temp below spec"
I had the cooling system flushed and the code reset....and it's back on again with same code.
I have read on here and looked it up online and p0138 says its an O2 pproblem.
I will take it to the stealer if I have to, but I was wondering if any of you could help me out with this...or at least put me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

LR3pete

Perhaps you misread/misheard that they said? Based on your code description, I would suspect it was actually a P0128, which is "insufficient coolant temp for closed loop operation". This fault usually points to a faulty thermostat (stuck open).

If your sure it was a P0138, that is indeed an O2 sensor code.

I am replacing the t-stat tomorrow, I'll let you know if it fixes the problem.

Thanks again
