Default Coil Pack Reliability

Are coil packs a common issue with the 2005 4.4 V8? One of mine failed and I am debating if I should replace them all or if it is probably just a random failure. On my Audi one going bad usualy meant the rest were soon to follow.

There are no coil packs on the LR3, only coil on plugs. Did you pull the plug to be sure its not oil soaked? Generally you can replace just the defective one and leave the rest until they fail, if they fail.

I've done 3 on my 06 and 1 on my 07. Both are close to 160k miles
