Default Could use some help here please!

Good day this is my situation here, I have a 2008 lr3 that the wife returned home with the suspension fully lowered and the max 30km an hour message activated. Upon reading up on this I ordered a new relay and a new compressor as well. The new compressor I have installed , new relay installed, new fuses installed, 1 in the cab cubby and two in the hood fuse box. Started the lr3 and no life on the compressor and red code for suspension still up. Did some more digging and found how to bypass relay with make shift wire and compressor activates but no vehicle raise. Did the "hard reset" trick to perhaps satisfy some software issue that wouldn't let me raise up the lr3, no luck there either. Read about these block values getting fed some junk through the air lines and cleaning them out upon removal if this is a step I need to take next? Also read something about the EAS ECU module either needs replacing or unplugging or reflash, not sure where that is and what the required. Please is you can help me it would be greatly appreciated as we are down to one vehicle at the moment. Thxs all.

Your first move should have been to get codes for the EAS. A generic reader will not work.

Also if you changed compressor brands, you need a software update.

In the mean time, can you better explain how the fault appears. Instantly? After driving a short distance? Speed? Did you check the fuse? Are there ANY other faults with the vehicle? What is your favorite pizza topping?

The compressor is the same Hitachi one that I guess was used before because I did read about having to take it into a dealer to get it to recognize it if it was a different brand and I purposely got one that didn't require that step. What code reader is required to read the lr3 codes?

The red fault appears upon start up right away, the suspension vehicle icon with the arrows above it, the head light icon comes on as well

Codes... Others can chime in with more options. But a GAP tool is the best option. Its more than a reader, can do lots with it like program new keys.

Another option is RSW solutions software. I have it, but I can not recommend it. There is no support if you have an issue. But its not expensive and has some pretty good functionality.

If the fault is immediate, that's a hard fault. Fuse, connection, etc. That generally rules out the compressor itself or pretty much any of the components as the system does not even attempt to fire up. I am not sure if a sensor WAY out of spec could cause a hard fault, but make sure all the sensors are in good shape and connected.

Yeah, sorry, height sensors. Basically I would do a visual inspection of the system. Connections, etc.

Ok Ill check those out, just a thought though if one height sensor was broken or say a wire pulled out would the lr3 totally drop to the stops as a safety feature or would the bad wheel sensor show up at the culprit wheel and not cause the whole system to deflate
