Ok, maybe dumb info or not correct at all, BUT. In the USA the SE did not have a cup holder here, only the HSE does. The SE only has a storage cubby. Since I got the truck I realized this feels like a cup holder but it won't pull out. Well, I took it all apart and it seems SOMEONE (JLR?) put a screw into the slider so it can't come out. It's stamped Jaguar too which I thought was interested. I took the screw out and gave it some oomph to slide out and now it works perfect. I wouldn't put it passed them to do this, but who really knows?
My MY08 SE didn't have it but i found one on a wreck that i was getting other parts off, the trim colour was wrong so i just unclipped it and attached to my vent section.
Cup holder hack?
