Not sure you still want the data point, but my Hitachi goes directly from access to offroad height with no warnings. Took the compressor almost 2 minutes to recharge the tank. My EAS controller was updated in 2014.

 

Thanks. Seriously....Mine doesn't give me a message unless I flick the switch twice within one second.

I've tested it counting it out...that 1.5 second pause between switch-flicks makes a difference.

Also, Morris, what software are you running on your Hitachi?
