Default Dog guard

Looking for recommendations on a good dog barrier to keep the pets in the back. Has to be something that is easily removable when not needed.

There's a used Genuine VUB501170GEN on eBay

Looks like brackets are permanent install, guard easily removable via threaded *****

There's usually a genuine dog guard floating around on marketplace if you can find one somewhere

Default I have one and like it

You can install or remove in about 5-8 minutes by yourself.

I use it the wrong way though. I have a fridge and other stuff on shelves in the back so the dogs stay between the dog guard and the front seats or over what would be the second row of seats if I had them (yes they are trained well enough not to get up front while we are moving or jump out of the windows when they are down).

The permanent parts are small "L" brackets and the car is still useable when the guard is removed.
The top mount just presses against the "C" pillar with friction. The middle mount requires you to remove the screw that holds the rear trim cover in place and add a small "L" bracket. The lower mount requires another "L" bracket be placed under the front tiedown ring.
There are a few ***** that tighten up the guard against these "L" brackets.

Hope this helps
Jeff

No drilling required. You just need a Philips screwdriver for the trim panel and a hex wrench for the tiedown ring.

TravAll dog guard is a good option. No drilling and covers only upper half which gives you options to slide longer items underneath it with seats down.
