EAS Diagnosis and ID Tool
#11
If you reach a height then press the switch to lower it, does the compressor stop? FYI, the temperature shuts-off is done by he EAS computer, it monitors operating temp. Its not an internal thermal-couple or such, but I think you know that. Are there any fault codes? The system will generate certain fault codes that are minor enough to not trip a cluster message/warning light.

To answer your question, if you flash the EAS module with the tool that is included in most of the reputable kits, it disables EAS so you don't get the fault and the special programs still work, except any of the associated suspension settings/features.

Ok. Update. New compressor. New cheap front valve block. I've managed to get the vehicle to raise up. Does so in the front quite slow and doesn't seem to raise all the way to earlier spec'd calibration. Went to calibrate and the front wheels were not moving. When pressing the up arrow on the Gap tool all I'm hearing is a clicking sound like the valves opening. Vehicle not raising. More confusion. Guess I could check the gallery pressure when calibrating.
