FYI - my MAF cleaning produced no benefit - only swapping to a new OEM MAF did my problem go away

But my problem was accompanied by MAF-related codes

Just saying, maybe cleaning doesn't always work

Do you have a friend with a "good" MAF you can swap/test?

You seem to be throwing parts at it with no known cause. I would sit back and re-evaluate the problem. If there are no codes then it is more than likely mechanical.

I thought I would give an update on my LR3. I took my truck to a transmission shop and they found metal shaving in my transmission pan. They rebuilt my transmission and the problem was fixed.

same issue for me. 2006 LR3. 4.4 SE . 279k miles. New battery, cleaned the TB, new plugs, ran seafoam through it 4 times 2 in the gas 2 in the inlet manifold. CLeaned the MAFs. When its warm its gutless until it reaches 3000rpm then she takes off. Almost like old turbo lag. NO CEL, no codes on my cheapo walmart reader. running shell 91 gas.
She's old but loved ( had it for 260k of those miles) but im not up for any huge investments...
Thoughts folks?

Try servicing it first. Check for Vacumm leaks, run 44k fuel cleaner, and a new maf, if that doesn't work. Try out your coil packs. After it gets sluggish, unplug a coil pack, one at a time and see if affects it in idle and/or driving if it doesn't affect in idle.
