Default Engine Vibration at 1100rpm

Not sure if this is normal or not, but I noticed that right at 1100rpm in my 08 HSE V8, there is a distinct vibration from the engine. It does this in Park, Neutral, and Drive. In Drive it feels like running over a bit of very mild washboard as the rpms pass around 1100. Disappears at anything below or above that.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

I had similar (with a lumpy idle) when I bought my 08 LR3. Cleaned out the throttle body and the vibration went away. Quick, cheap and easy check. Could be that simple.

I just cleaned out the throttle body two weeks ago. I also cleaned the MAF while I was in there. Lots of gunk to clean out, but no impact on the vibration.

It definitely feels like something spinning out of balance, not a irregular vibration.

Do the LR3's have a mechanical fan and clutch, or just electric fans?

Mechanical by the looks of it. Inspected the fan and didn't find any broken fins or noticeable damage. That was my first guess as well. Seems to do it even when the fan isn't spinning, but haven't confirmed that yet.

Start checking accessories and pulleys for bad bearings. Also, are you getting any codes, bad plug/coil?

It's belt driven, but I believe the clutch is electric.

No codes or CEL. Performance is good. I think it might shake a bit more at idle with the A/C engaged as well, but that could just be me feeling things. Belts and pulleys seem like a good place to start.
