factory brush guard
not sure if it is called a brush bar push bar light bar or whatever
the big square black rubber thing on the front of the 06 hse, I removed it and it looks like I just drill through the bumper cover and the threaded holes are in the steel bumper to bolt it up, can anyone confirm this before I drill holes in my bumper cover

Tom,
I am a newbie and just getting started on mods for my '05 LR3. So far have a Bajarack roof rack and a front runner ladder. Looking to add tires and maybe a lift of some sort, not sure if I am going hardware type rods or software?
Is there a place to get the install instruction like these for the wraparound tube brush guard? I found one on craigslist for $50 but no hardware. Niello in CA had the hard ware for $100. Part number on the guard is VUB501270.
Thanks
DW

Got wraparound bar on.
They are crappy directions. I used an 1.25 inch hole saw at 70 mm below the edge of the bumper and it was off just a little. Drilled the other side down 75 mm and it was perfect. The bar mount covers the oblong hole on the passenger side. If I had the 33mm hole saw it would have worked ok at 70mm. But the spacer wouldn't be centered. Hope it helps somebody in the future.
