This has probably been asked an answered. Any recommendations on brands of brake pads for my '07 LR3? What the hell, rotors too.

Akebono on pads

For rotors, it is just a big chunk of metal. People swear by the Brembo rotors but I didn't notice any difference between it and the Autozone stuff.

If you are looking for any kind of performance witchcraft mumbo jumbo stuff like slotted/cross drilled rotors, then EBC and Frozen are good stuff. But I never noticed the difference on a vehicle that weighs over 7K pounds.

Those fancy rotors do look cool though.

 

Not EBC Green Stuff. I heard they were good but mine squeal a lot and make tons of dust. Sucks because I have probably 8 full sets on hand... My usual was Brembo. They did not make much dust and worked well. But I like to try new stuff. Rotors, always been Brembo also but I have some Bosch to try next.
