Finding out how many miles were driven in each Terrain Response mode
I used a $30 ELM327 OBD2 Dongle with WiFi and a free app (ieGeek) to capture diagnostics from my 2005 LR3.
I was happily surprised to see the following:
Terrain Response Odometer (GENERAL) 210,115 miles
Terrain Response Odometer (SNOW) 292
Terrain Response Odometer (MID) 1
Terrain Response Odometer (SAND) 0
Terrain Response Odometer (ROCKS) 1
Dashboard Odometer 210,410
I'm understanding this to mean my Rover was driven in special programs for a total of only 294 miles out of well over 200,000 miles, and all but 2 were in the Grass Gravel Snow (first dial position). This seems to indicate this vehicle likely hasn't been off -Pavement except briefly. Or, maybe people use their LR3s often in severe conditions but never turn the dial? Sadly I didn't see an indication of 4-Low range which more strongly indicates some ruder use, it seems to me
I haven't seen a thread on this. What do others have as total miles used in special programs?
Thanks
