Default Firestone Destination AT 265/60/18 Opinions

Hey all,
Been a while since I posted here but I do visit quite often and appreciate everyone's advice.
I need some opinions now. Of course my awesome stock GY's on my 06 LR3 are completely shot after 22K miles. I have been looking at the Firestone Destination AT's just slightly larger at 265/60/18 and I can get a good deal here on the base for them. I don't do much off roading, except on the beach and we only see snow 2 or 3 times a year here.

TireRack has them rated #1 so I am wondering what you guys think?

Also, any issues with putting a slightly larger tire on?

Thanks

I have heard they are a good tire.

You will find the LR3 runs much smoother with 265/60/18 that with stock size. Also changing away from the HPs will soften the ride as well. You may just fall in love with it all over again! And no issues what so ever with that size.

Thanks guys. I guess my main concern now is the lower weight rating. According to Firestone they are rated at approx 150lbs (109T) less per tire than the stock GY's at
(112T). Will there be any "significant" negative effect with the difference?

Do you tow anything?

I tow a 12 ft trailer with two four wheelers on it most of the time but I was planning on renting a camper trailer sometime this summer to haul to mountains. Other than that I don't regularly tow anything extremely heavy.
Is that where a lower rating tire can be a bad choice?

If you're concerned with load rates go up to 265/65/18. Most tires rate at 112 on that size, and I partucularly love how the extra sidewall makes the LR3 ride so smooth, besides they look right. Somehow balace the LR3 much better than those tiny funny looking low pros it comes with.
