Default Front control arms

When speed bumps or other bumps are hit it feels really hard on the front suspension. Wondering if that would be the control arms. If so has anyone replaced the arms off amazon? Where would you recommend purchasing from? How difficult is it to do myself?

I picked up my front kit from Lucky8, both control arms plus all new hardware.

Installation is about 4 hours for the pair. You will need a fair amount of sawsall blades if you are like me to cut the to main bolts to the frame. If you are super lucky they will zip right apart but I have done 2 trucks so far and neither have been that way.

Patience is key for success, otherwise straightforward and easy

Do both (upper and lower) while you’re in there and align once.... I did lowers and there was still a clunk until I did the uppers.

I always recommend OEM suspension parts. So either genuine LR parts or parts made by the OEM for LR. When it comes to LR3 uppers, they are cheap at about $70 per side. Some MOOG versions are twice that price! Lowers is where the really kicker is. OEM is about $300/side and aftermarket are a lot less expensive. But they may not last and I would never use aftermarket lower off roading. If you have the time/abilities. You may want to consider rebuilding the lowers. Poly or OEM sport bushings are one thing people install. But even simple replacement bushings are not terribly expensive. Same for ball joints. But as mentioned, the actual procedure for removing the lowers if the bolts don't come out is to cuts the arms. Then you are back to buying new ones.

I don't cut the arms just the bolts. My lowers were completely rebuild-able. I chose to recycle them
