Default front heated seat wireing

I want to add heated seats, rear ones are prewired

now I think the fronts are not, looks like there is a missing plug, plug I am pointing at in the pic is the extra plug in the hse, not sure if that's for the seats or heated windshield or both

Did you ever find the missing plung?

Default look for 4 conductor connectors under the front seats

I think the plugs are all there on the rear of the **** unit; the conductors may or may not be. Per the wiring link, I would be looking under the seats instead for 4 conductors connectors C-2950 under the left seat and C-0085 under the right seat.

The way I read the wiring pdf referenced below, there are at least six conductors related to the front seat heat. The connector number is C2295 referenced on sheet 180 that I refer to.

Also does your control unit have a heated windscreen, (not rear hatch window)? If not, I think the extra plug is for a heated windscreen or something like that unrelated to the heated seats, front and rear.

If you find the connectors, then the wiring colours should show up on the C-1950 connector going into the rear of the **** unit.

The unit I installed has heated windshield and rear a/c, I use neither

I plugged the tekpro in and have body codes for both front seats unable to detect seat temp unit or something, so my guess something is not plugged in

If someone figures it out take pics

Default number of buttons on face of units

Does the unit with the four connectors have more or less buttons on the front than the unit with the three connectors? That plug must do something.

Also I presume the four connector unit is a newer part number than the three connector unit?

I am just wondering if that connector is for something yet to come or a feature deleted.

Land Rover will do that or the under parts may be for another vehicle as well.

If there are differences in the face of the two units, pictures would be nice.

Unit with 4 connectors is from my 06 hse, that connector I am guessing is for rear a/c and heated windshield that my 05 does not have

The fact that the seat heater buttons light up and the timer part works if you let em run tells me the issue is at the seat imo
