Default Gas stains on wheel arch

Is there any way to remove stains from gas drips that fall onto the plastic wheel arch? Most were from the previous owner, but I've had one or two drips myself (I've since learned I have to sit there and shake out the nozzle for a good minute or two and even still it sometimes drips).

Would one of those trim restoring products (the ones with dye) work?

Not sure on the cleaning effort, but another trick at the pump is to carefully rotate the handle so that the spout is facing up when you take it away from the car.

Some people just pop the trim off and paint it. I keep meaning to clean the trim and protect them a little more but never get around to it. I don't even think about this and I fill up twice a week... whoops

Use the paper towels at the pump under the nozzle and then throw them away. Most stations supply them for window cleaning.
