The guys who quote "$99 lifetime brakes"...quoted me +/- $950 (inc. tax) and I checked 3 different companies. I don't have the time, tools or expertise to do it myself so having the dealer price lower than all my other quotes was satisfactory to me.

You did it yourself for 200? The parts alone are 3x times that I had priced through Land Rover. 4 rotors, f/r sensors, pads for front and rear? Even roverparts.com is almost twice what you paid for just the parts ($329.95 on sale and then I'd have to pay shipping). The dealer did it OTD for $900 (inc. tax). Porsche, Mercedes and other luxury dealers are all up there in price and sometimes more.

Rotors were fine I reused my sensors and put on new pads. I have done brakes myself but I did not do the ones on my LR3 I had a mechanic do it. You don't have to buy into the new rotors check them you should get 2 sets of pads to a set of rotors. They can reuse the sensors if they are carefull.
