Thought I'd revisit this subject to give an update on my tires of choice for the LR3. Not only has the military started to install them on all CUCV (chevy blazers) but the state of Maryland has chosen them as the tire of choice for their snow plows. Of course they use the Pro Grade version on their trucks for heavier duty aplication. I just turned 40k miles and still have plenty of evenly worn tread on them. No noise, no flats, no cuts or bruises, still smooth riding and soon to be tested in the middle of the worst Maryland can throw at me this winter

While I don't have the mileage time that Jantiz does on his, I do echo that the SA's are great. Zilch for noise and outstanding ride and handling with very good traction.
